These photos were taken in our suburban backyard. We are lucky to back onto dense bush, a creek and small pockets of almost sub-tropical rain forest. Over the years we have seen more and more birds visit the yard. We do put out wild bird mix for the birds but another major reason for the increase in population of birds, I'm sure, is that no one in the street now owns a cat.

This gorgeous Black Cockatoo arrives only a couple of times a year, stays for the day - and is gone!
